Why change your oil?
It’s important to change the oil in your vehicle for a number of reasons: Keeping engine parts running smoothly. As a general rule, the engine converts the reciprocating motion of the pistons into a circular movement, thus enabling the thermal energy generated to be used to propel the vehicle. To achieve this conversion, the engine is equipped with several small moving parts which rub against each other at very high temperatures. So, when you change your oil and filter, your engine is free of all the dirt that can shorten its life. Reduce corrosion: Over time, the consistency of the oil in your vehicle changes, becoming more liquid and less viscous. This reduces its effectiveness against humidity, opening the door to rust.
